Striking Lisbon Tour.

LISBON GIRL

This is a tour whose main character is the Fado.








Part of it is done through the winding streets of Alfama, one of the neighborhoods and picturesque city, where also extends clothing at street level, bake sardines at the door if they do turn the old grafonolas with no less old themes of alfacinha fado.















Another part is made within walls, celebrating Fado.

Lunch, based on traditional Portuguese food, is to make the mouth water.









Finally, the tour culminates in one of the best Viewpoints City where you get to enjoy the wonderful Sunset sun over the Tagus River.

The Seven Wonders of the Espichel Cape














The Espichel Cape is a place of cult to Our Lady that brings together science, history, legends and superstitions. Considered an important promontory situated on the southwestern tip of the Setubal Peninsula, it is characterized by being a wilderness, exposed to the sea wind, but of rare natural beauty. 








Architecturally stand out a set of elements that make the place a unique place in the country (Church, Hostels, Mother Water and Aqueduct, Lighthouse).





The history of the place are part of the Old Legend, the Legend of Mua giant footprints of the dinosaurs and many other things. 





The Espichel Cape is a charming and mysterious place, early chosen by the Kings and pilgrims to join in honor of Our Lady.

Access: Going from Lisbon (25 April Bridge) exit at Sesimbra output. Going from Setúbal, follow direction Azeitão, Sesimbra. Continue towards Sesimbra to the Rotunda of Santana, then go towards Cabo Espichel by the end of the road. Should park at the Shrine and not leave anything in sight inside the vehicle.

This is a trip to the spectacular Arrabida Natural Park, a protected area and with a rich vegetation and unique animal that is located by the sea, between Setúbal and Sesimbra.






The meeting between the sea and the mountains provided the formation of beaches of fine sand and clear waters existing only in the Mediterranean.





By the choice of the Franciscan friars, between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries, still houses a convent and various isolated and scattered chapels where meditation was practiced.
